Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust required a new site in the Leeds General Infirmary to house a purpose-built cost and energy-efficient data centre, consolidating four existing data centres across the Trust.
We provided the client with typical power usages and costs for the available MEP options, as well as exploring low/zero-carbon options including proposals for hot and cold isles and evaporative cooling to help provide lifetime energy savings and reduce the carbon footprint of the building, coordinating on reliability as well as data centre resilience to ensure optimised performance within the centre..
